Intraoral Camera
An intraoral camera is shaped like a wand and is attached to a display monitor. It lets us closely examine the various nooks and crannies in your mouth in real-time so that we have a solid grasp of what’s going on. We can also show you the problematic areas so that you understand our recommendations.
Digital X-Rays
Taking X-rays used to mean exposing patients to high amounts of radiation and working in a darkroom filled with toxic chemicals. Digital X-rays dramatically reduce radiation, and the images can immediately be displayed on a monitor – and in far clearer detail that lets us examine your mouth more closely than before!
CT/Cone Beam Scanner
Instead of just taking a picture of the front of your teeth, a CT/Cone Beam Scanner captures multiple images of your mouth from various angles. The images are combined into a 3D model that shows your teeth, oral tissues, nerve pathways, and bone – all the details we need for planning dental implant surgery and other procedures.
Soft Tissue Laser Dentistry
When a treatment involves the gums in any way, we often employ a soft tissue laser. This technology allows us to gently etch away infected or unneeded gum tissue without a scalpel or other metal instruments. Using a laser for these treatments virtually eliminates bleeding because the blood vessels are cauterized immediately.
